Different Types of Guitars

No matter what your age or size, there is a guitar for you. So if you or your child need a smaller guitar don't be afraid to ask around at your local music shop. In the Classical Guitar Sizes JPG below, you will see on the Left side a full scale classical guitar. To the Right is a 3/4 scale, then a 1/2 scale, then a 1/4 scale followed by 2 specialty guitars that get even smaller. The four on the left side are the cordoba protege series. Follow the link to see current prices. You don't have to choose this brand if you are looking for classical guitar, but I've had several students use these guitars with good results.
